Building most web sites and applications should be a relatively quick process if all development work is carefully managed and if the requirements are not overly complex.
The reasoning behind this theory is based on the idea that most development should be a product of building blocks, called components or modules, where each block has a its own predefined functionality.

This isn't a new concept in development, but it's surprising just how many developments are built for the requirements at hand.

The purpose of this short report is simply to remind and get developers thinking about the bigger picture and how they can streamline their whole development process.

With some careful planning and good documentation it is possible to develop websites and applications quickly and more efficiently.

The initial task of modulising each functionality supported by good documentation can lenghten a projects timescale and can also be a little tedious, however the fruits of this activity are valuable and will help speed future development work substantially.
